Vaccination Clinic at Clyde Hill Elementary
Dear Parent/Guardians of Clyde Hill Student body,
Is your student missing one or more vaccines required for school in Washington State? Two years of Covid isolation put many families behind in the vaccine schedule. GOOD NEWS… Our school is partnering with Public Health – Seattle & King County and Bellevue College Nursing to provide a FREE vaccine clinic right here at Clyde Hill.
We will be hosting the free clinic during school hours on Thursday, October 31st. This is not a TRICK, it’s a TREAT!! Your child is invited to get the vaccines they need at NO COST and you do not need to attend. (We will be sure to support and comfort your child through the process).
If you are interested in having your child participate, please complete the Vaccine Documentation & Consent Form linked in the email you received from Principal Amy MacDonald on 10/18 and return it to school nurse, Amy Borberg BSN RN, borberga@bsd405.org by Wednesday, Oct. 30. You can also call the main office for an additional form if needed.
If you are not sure if your student needs vaccine catch-up, you can do the following:
1. Contact your child’s primary pediatrician and ask!
2. Go to Washington State’s MyIR system and look to see if (a) your child is in it and (b) what might be missing.
3. Reach out to Nurse Amy to ask for help.
Questions? Please call Nurse Amy on Monday, Tuesday, or Friday 425-456-5003.
Clyde Hill PTA
Trunk or Treat! Friday, October 25th!
The Clyde Hill PTA is happy to present our annual Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 25 at 6 pm. Families that are interested in hosting a Trunk can sign up at Clyde Hill PTA: 2024 Trunk or Treat (signupgenius.com). We are also looking for a limited number of volunteers to help with parking management as well as helping to restock candy. See the sign up website for more details.
Trunk hosters should plan to arrive at 5 pm to get set up, which will be in the East parking lot bordering 98th Ave NE and NE 24th St.
Our Candy Monster, now sporting a mohawk(!), is resident in the school office, however, he is VERY hungry so PLEASE send in your candy donations!
As a reminder, the Northwest Arts Center on NE 23rd St. east of the school also has an event that evening so it will be a busy and fun time in the neighborhood. Please keep this in mind when making transportation arrangements.
Please contact David Cordova at 206 369 4637; dcordova@deloitte.com with any questions.
