Cougar Chronicle: February 2026
There is so much going on at Clyde Hill, so in an effort to keep this newsletter from scrolling on and on, let's get started:
February 10, 2026: Bellevue School District Levies
How Local Levies Help Students Every Day
Bellevue School District is funded by federal, state and local funding, including voter-approved levies. BSD has two levies up for renewal on the February 10 ballot.
Local levy funding helps pay for classroom teachers, student health services, and special education. It also provides one-to-one devices, up-to-date technology, and training for teachers.
The levies also fund safety measures like secure entrances and emergency preparedness. These levies help maintain the quality of education and safety standards families expect in Bellevue. Visit our levy renewal web page to learn more.
Remember to Vote by February 10
Election day is approaching. Bellevue School District has two measures on the ballot that renew existing school levies that fund classroom, safety, and technology needs.
These levies help keep schools staffed, safe, and equipped with the tools students need to learn. They are not new taxes but a continuation of current local funding.
Ballots must be mailed or placed in an official drop box by Election Day, February 10. More information is available on our levy renewal web page.
First Semester Progress Reports
First Semester Progress Reports aka Report Cards are now available online via ParentVue.
- If you have not set up your ParentVue account, please use the following link to information on the Bellevue School District website that will guide you in how to do this: https://www.bsd405.org/programs-and-services/technology-services/grades-and-attendance
- Once you have this account set up, you will use it for as long as your student is enrolled in a Bellevue School District school.
- The following are directions for accessing progress reports and i-Ready scores in ParentVue or StudentVue*:
* Students in middle and high school use StudentVue to track their assignments and grades. It is not something we use in elementary school with our students.

Attendance Matters: New Semester, New You!
The second semester is a great time for students to reset. One of the best ways to make the most of this fresh start is by setting short-term goals. These are smaller, achievable targets that help students stay on track and motivated throughout the semester. Learn more in this edition of the Attendance Matters series.
Thank you for your ongoing support of each of our learners at Clyde Hill Elementary!
